We had our first Qulit Study Group Sunday here in Hudson, Michigan. Adding a little more interest to the day Velia included a BED TURNING for the guests. There were forty-one items on the bed in the room next to the dinning room where we concentrated on the agenda of reviewing the beginning of the series of Uncoverings research papers, questions on why a study, and touched on UGRR and quilting on silk. Several books like Clues in the Calico, Small Endearments and Uncoverings added to the discussions. 

In the library the librarything.com became real to two guilds including husbands. June 24 will be the next scheduled study group with another BedTurning and Video recording with Michael Lauerman (Velia's grand son ) and his college classmates at the cameras. 

Men/Women were willing to lay aside needle/thread to look at all the opportunities in the fun of sharing stories. We have joined American Quilt Study Group as of next month. Yea! What more can you all help us with in making groups like this reality ? Seams as though the cross over has began to bond.
